Hand-Coated Cyanotype Paper Pack (Postcard size, 10 Sheets) – Ready to Expose

£7.50

Hand-coated by me, this pack includes 10 sheets of Postcard size (approx. 100mm x 150mm) 300gsm cold-pressed, acid-free watercolour paper. Each sheet has been prepared with a traditional cyanotype solution made from Ammonium Iron(III) Citrate and Potassium Ferricyanide, creating a light-sensitive surface ready for printing with sunlight.

How to use:
Place objects (like leaves, film, lace, etc.) on the paper and expose it to sunlight for a few minutes. You'll see the paper shift from greenish-yellow to deep blue or greyish-bronze. Once exposed, rinse the sheet in clean water for 5–10 minutes. Let it dry flat. You can admire the classic Prussian blue image or tone it with tea, coffee, or other tannin-rich substances for sepia or black & white effects.

The 10 sheets come in a black, light-safe envelope. Keep them sealed and stored in a dark, dry place until use to preserve their photosensitivity.

Each pack is made fresh once order received, so estimated dispatch will be 1-2 days after order.
