Solargraphy

Today I scanned in my first solargraph made using a Pepsi max can pinhole camera. The exposure was around 10 days long, pointed due south, as I’m in the Northern Hemisphere. I loaded the photographic paper into the can inside my dark room, after the exposure, I removed it in the darkroom and scanned it in there too using a canon scanner @ 600DPI exporting as .Tiff

The Scanned Negative

It’s important to note that if you would like to have a go at this you mustn’t develop your photographic paper, it will just turn black. You must instead scan it, then invert digitally using something like GIMP or the very overpriced subscription service Photochop. Seriously though, f*ck Adobe! Great program, greedy profiteering company.
